All tips should only be left if you are delighted with the service our staff performed for you. The industry standard for your guide is 10% of the cost of the hunt, but again this is totally up to you. The tip for staff (kitchen, cooks, management, skinner, etc.) is usually an additional 5%. If you had an excellent experience, we suggest planning on a 15-20% total tip. If you have any suggestions, compliments or complaints, please do so at checkout time, as we are always seeking suggestions for improvements to our operation!

All hunts require daily rates and guide fees to be paid in advance.

The processing of your meat, taxidermy, State of Texas hunting licenses, transportation to/from the ranch, and tips for your guide and staff are additional expenses.

We have the luxury of an 18-acre lake below the main lodge, fully stocked with trophy Florida Bass, so please feel free to bring your fishing gear. Bring your standard hunting gear, including boots, jacket, hunting weapon of choice, ammunition, binoculars, eye protection, ear protection, insect repellent and sunscreen. If you are a bow or pistol hunter, please bring scent to eliminate any odor for close-range encounters. We have a General Store on-site fully stocked with the latest and greatest in hunting gear, just in case you forget anything!

Camouflage is highly recommended. The time of year will depend on the climate. We will discuss it with you before your arrival.

Check-in for hunters is from 1-3 p.m. and check-in for non-hunters is from 3-5 p.m. Check-out is by 10 a.m. for everyone.

Our antlered animals are seasonal due to shed time. Most exotics we hunt from September 1st to the end of May. If you are after whitetail or turkey, we abide by the State of Texas hunting seasons. We are a Level III MLD holder, so you will not need to use your hunting tags. Be sure and make your reservations as soon as possible, as we are typically booking months and even years in advance.
